01 / Profile

Leadership with technical depth

Organization building, platform strategy and hands-on engineering leadership across AI, developer tools and enterprise software.

R&D and Engineering leader with over two and a half decades of relevant experience in building and scaling high-performing engineering organizations, developer productivity platforms and complex software products across AI, developer tools, distributed systems, systems software and EDA. Currently lead 27+ employees and consultants across Bangalore and Hyderabad, with end-to-end ownership of Synopsys developer tools in India and a track record of scaling platforms to 5× larger user bases without increasing developer headcount. Hands-on technology leader who combines architecture expertise with organizational leadership, productizing research, driving cross-site delivery, modernizing engineering ecosystems and enabling AI-assisted developer productivity. Proven across organization building, technical strategy, product ownership, engineering transformation and talent leadership, from establishing new engineering functions to scaling enterprise-wide platforms.

At Synopsys, he has built and scaled the India developer-tools organization while partnering with global engineering leaders on technology strategy, product priorities and R&D execution. He repatriated 100% of HQ-diverted operations to India within eight months with zero business disruption, rebuilding the organization through targeted restructuring and talent acquisition. He subsequently expanded developer tools from a single-product footprint across anchor products and ultimately across Synopsys, supporting a 5× larger user base with the same developer headcount through platform generalization, standardization and engineering optimization.

His experience spans AI, developer tools, distributed systems, systems software, software architecture and EDA. Across his career he has built engineering capabilities from the ground up, transitioned global product ownership, scaled platforms without proportional headcount growth and translated emerging technologies into practical enterprise solutions. He is recognised for combining deep technology expertise with organizational leadership, product ownership and talent development.
